• Who are We?

Nonprofit organizations come in many shapes and sizes. Ours is more of a family than a global organization. We are a team of 3 - a sister, a brother and a sister-in-law. But we also have something else in common - we love Ukraine, and want to see it prosperous and free.

To help us achieve our mission, we founded Help Ukraine. The aim is to meet the critical needs of the people of Ukraine, and to do so in the most efficient way possible. Our overhead costs are $0 - we cover all organizational expenses out-of-pocket.

  • Why should you trust us?

The war in Ukraine is highly personal for us.

Our father, 63 years young, is a lifelong resident of Dnipro. The minute the first Russian bomb fell on Ukraine, he knew what he had to do. The next day he voluntarily enlisted to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, even though his age allowed him to opt out. He has the rank of captain and led one of the divisions of the UAF before being honorably discharged due to age three months later.

However, his work did not stop there. Determined to continue serving his country, he founded a Ukrainian non-profit dedicated to his squad. Having first-hand experience in the army gave him an understanding of how the system works, what the people on the ground need the most, and where.

Aside from the logistics, he spends most of his days procuring, repairing and delivering first responder cars, as well as medical equipment. The funds for this come from him and a small group of donors. The reality is, money is running out.

This is where we come in. We have created a “shopping list” of items which we know will make a difference for the lives of Ukrainian people. The list is long, so we will prioritize. Please see “Our Needs” section for a list of our top priorities.

To help offset the costs, we plan to create a series of fundraisers. All money will be directly transferred and used to purchase the items - there are no overhead costs. Whenever possible, we plan to post photos of the equipment purchased in the “Latest Updates” section.
